Joy of the Lens Photography

Joy of the Lens Photography sponsored our High Flyin' Meet and Greet this month and provided some great shots of the kids playing at Linder Farms for our IMN families.
In case you were wondering here is a little bit more about Joy of the Lens Photography.

This is the owner and photographer Matt Stanley

"I am a naturally artistic person, and I love to create images that tell a story. I have taken all kinds of pictures, from those of infants to adults and every age in-between. Doing portraits of families and children is my favorite kind of photography, however. Pictures that capture a moment in the life of your family are priceless works of art that you will cherish forever. I enjoy each photo shoot, when I get to glimpse into the life of your family and tell your story. This passion and joy that I feel when I’m behind the lens of my camera is the inspiration for the name of my company, Joy of the Lens Photography."- Matt Stanley

Making Edible Necklaces

Today's playgroup was so much fun!
We all got to make edible necklaces!
It was really easy and the kids had a blast making them, even if they did consume them quickly!
Our moms are so creative!  Here is how we did it!

Gather as many snack, cereal or candy items with holes in them as you would like.  Here is the sampling from this mornings playgroup.

This next part is brilliant!
Tie off the first item you put on the string.  This stops everything from falling off while building a necklace.

Then string up your treats!

The kids had a blast creating their masterpieces.

Of course there was some snacking... ok a lot of snacking.

In the end, they made a really cute snack!

Even the moms got in on the action!

If you missed out on today's playgroup this is definitely one to try at home!
